“Karolina’s Financial Literacy workshop was one of our department’s best workshops this academic year! Our students loved learning about financial literacy and how to set their future up for financial success, starting today. For many of them, this education isn’t readily available, and Karolina’s workshop provided the essential foundation they needed to take their first steps. She was also a pleasure to work with, collaborating seamlessly with our staff to tailor the content to our students’ needs. Her relatability, humor, and expertise made a lasting impact, and our students can’t wait to welcome her back to campus soon!”

“Karolina is a dedicated educator committed to helping marginalized communities break generational barriers and build wealth by educating them about financial literacy. Our EOF scholars at Ramapo College of NJ really appreciated Karolina’s transparency and her passion for sharing her knowledge and expertise. I highly recommend connecting with Karolina and inviting her to speak to your students and/or campus community!”

Financial Literacy Workshops

If you’re supporting students, employees, or a community group, workshops are a practical way to bring financial education into a shared learning space.

What to expect:

Virtual or in-person sessions tailored to your audience and focused on real-life money situations people are already navigating.

Built-in time for questions and discussion, so participants can apply what they’re learning as they go

A first-gen perspective combined with over nine years of experience as a former elementary school educator

That combination shapes how I teach.

Everything is clear, broken down in a way that makes sense, and grounded in everyday financial decisions.

🎓 Financial Literacy Workshops for Colleges & Universities

Workshops designed for first-gen and BIPOC students who are navigating money in real life, often for the first time.

Many students are making big financial decisions without ever having had a class that explains how money actually works. These workshops fill that gap with clear, practical guidance.

Sessions are interactive and adjusted based on student needs. Concepts are broken down step by step, with real-life examples, culturally aware context, and space for questions. I also bring my own first-gen experience into the room so students feel seen and understand that learning how money works is possible. Relatability matters.

The goal: for students to walk away with a clearer understanding of how money works, useful tools they can start using right away, and a better sense of what to focus on next as they navigate their financial future.

Popular topics:

  • Creating a college-friendly budget
  • How to actually save money
  • Understanding and managing credit
  • Navigating student loans
  • Preparing for financial decisions after graduation
  • How to start building wealth now

💼 Financial Wellness Workshops Businesses & Organizations

Workshops designed for organizations looking to support employee financial well-being through practical, real-life money education.

Many people are managing money stress alongside work, family, and everyday responsibilities, without ever having had clear guidance on how finances actually work. These workshops focus on making those conversations easier to have and to understand.

Sessions are interactive and adjusted based on your organization’s goals, employee needs, and workplace benefits. Concepts are broken down step by step, using real-life scenarios, open discussion, and time for questions.

The goal: for employees to leave with more clarity around their finances, feel more confident navigating everyday money decisions, and have a clearer sense of what to focus on next.

Whether it’s part of your wellness week or an ongoing program, the focus stays real and relatable.

Popular topics:

  • Budgeting and saving strategies
  • How to tackle debt
  • Retirement planning & employer match options
  • Understanding workplace benefits (FSAs, HSAs, pre-tax vs. post-tax, etc.)

💬 Personalized 1:1 Coaching

You might not be sure where your money is going. Maybe you want a second set of eyes on your budget, or need help thinking through your next steps toward a financial goal. These sessions focus on your situation, goals, priorities, and comfort level.

The goal: to help you feel more in control of your money and more confident in your next financial decision.
